How to play

Everyone has seven letter tiles. On your turn, place tiles in one row or one column to make a word that joins the tiles already on the board, then press Play. The first word must cover the centre star. Every word you make is scored from its letter values, and the coloured squares multiply a letter or a whole word, but only the first time a tile lands on them. A blank tile can stand for any letter and is worth nothing. Use all seven tiles in one go for a 50 point bonus. You can swap tiles or pass instead of playing. The game ends when someone uses their last tile after the bag is empty, or when everyone passes twice in a row. Leftover tiles count against you, and the highest score wins. The host presses Start once everyone has joined.
