Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you use Game Night Studio (the "Service"), run by Game Night Studio ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

Game Night Studio lets you play simple multiplayer games, such as Noughts & Crosses, Chess and Quiz Race, online with friends. Guests can join games with just a display name. The Service is free to use. We may add, change or remove games and features at any time.

2. Who can use it

You must be 13 or over. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission. You must give accurate details when you sign up.

3. Your account

  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account.
  • Choose a username that isn't offensive, misleading or someone else's name or brand.
  • One person, one account please.

4. Acceptable use

Please play fair and be kind. You must not:

  • harass, abuse or threaten other players, or use offensive usernames;
  • use bots, scripts or other automated tools to play, create accounts, or put load on the Service;
  • try to hack, probe or disrupt the Service, or access accounts or data that aren't yours;
  • use the Service for anything unlawful.

5. Games and results

Games are for fun. Moves and results are decided by our server, and our records are final. If a connection drops you can usually rejoin from your dashboard, but we can't guarantee that every game will be completed. Old, abandoned or finished games are deleted automatically as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Availability

We try to keep the Service running smoothly but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may pause it for maintenance or updates.

7. Our content

The Service, its design, code and branding belong to us or our licensors. You may use it for personal, non-commercial play, but you must not copy, resell or reverse-engineer it except as the law allows.

8. Suspending or ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or close an account, with or without notice, if you break these terms or put the Service or other players at risk.

9. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Subject to that, and because the Service is provided free of charge, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for loss of data or game progress, or for business losses. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make an important change we'll let you know on the site. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, although if you live elsewhere in the UK you may also have the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
